Our Technologists
Consistency is our philosophy and Neuralectric aims to maintain continuity of care by providing the same technologist for every one of your cases. Working with a neuromonitor that you feel confident in is our top priority, and we welcome feedback from you. In the OR, we use techniques refined from decades of experience to set up our end of the case so there's no waiting on needle placement or data collection.
Our Neurologists
We always use board-certified Neurologists with experience in neuromonitoring to remotely monitor cases 100% of the time. There is no waiting on communication for a neurologist to interpret signals, because they are connected live during the entire surgery. You might never think about the neurologists on the other end of the line, but they are always there for a consult!
Our Technology and Equipment
The choices in technology are as varied as the choices in technologists, but there is a clear standard above all: Cadwell Systems. Neuralectric uses 32-channel Cadwell Cascade Pro machines which are industry-leading in their data collection, accuracy, and reliability. Their Surgical Studios program uses advanced proprietary algorithms for stimulation detection which are constantly refined to match the most recent evidence-based research. It is capable of running every test available to the neuromonitoring field while other systems are designed only for single-level, low-variability spine procedures. Those systems limit their data collection to certain bandwidths that do not allow for adjustments in the case of diabetic patients, peripheral neuropathies, and other medical conditions that exclude a common textbook response. The Cadwell software allows infinite customizability so its acquisition can mimic that of any other system while expanding its collection range, meaning outliers never go unmonitored.
